About the event

Frictive frequencies: DAS | Ignatz Höch + Hannah Mouse | Winona Lin + Frank
Happy to invite you to another concert evening at Ausland.

Doors open 19:00 | Concert 20:00 | Tickets (only at the door) sliding scale 7-15 €

- DAS - Daphne and Simpson - Obsolte machines and talking hats
- Ignatz Höch + Hannah Mouse: twitching mass of asymmetrical insects and spray glue in the shape of a woman
- Winona Lin and Frank – sampling, feedback, objects, improvised

F(r)ictive frequencies, formerly Strings attach/ed, names a very irregular concert series for irregular methods, languages and existences: noise, experimental, atonal, spoken word, minimalism and maximalism, DIY, the violence of discovery, the unlikelihood of existing, and many many other niceties.

Pro Bio: Judy Greta Moore is a multifunctional artist and a busy little bee. She makes comics, Hi-NRG goth music and teaches art.
Her music is politically aggressive and aggressively sugary, inspired by among other things, theatrical post punk, trans girl bedroom pop and mid century jazz vocalists. She's exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery London, The Institute of Contemporary Art London, The Freud Museum London, The Museum of Communication Berlin, Whose Museum Malmo, among others.

DAS
(Dafne And Simpson)
Obsolete machines and talking hats.
A kabelsalat of glitched moving images and soft noise.

Winona Lin and Frank

Winona Lin - Information and links coming soon

Frank creates a unique soundscape in the transition from noise to music. He has arranged his improv set with hints of melodies, sporadic rhythms, and sound structures formed by a variety of analog sound samples. These are integrated into the digital signals of a no-input mixer. Another element is a modified resonator guitar. Driven by a motor, a coil, and a closed circuit, its strings are set into permanent vibration, generating an endless sustain. This results in a radical transformation of both the sound and the handling of the instrument.

Frictive Frequencies is a series of experimental, avantgarde or just plainly weird music handpicked by @GubbiAnn
